Blue Shoes...

Hello Kids...

I'm back again with another wedding planning dilemma and this time I need your help!!! I have the dress, the jewelry and the hair accessories. But what I don't have is the shoes. I have my little blogger heart set on blue shoes. I need my "something blue" plus adding some color into my wedding day look can't hurt. So here my hunt for the perfect blue shoes begins.

The requirements are simple. The heel needs to be 2 1/2 inches or shorter (shorter is better). The color should be a light or metallic shade of blue. And lastly these shoes need to let my toes breath because August in Vegas is HOT HOT HOT!!! Now my lovely readers I need your help to find the perfect shoe, one fit for a bride. I'm asking that you leave links to any and all shoes that meet these requirements in my comments section...pretty please.

If you are not into surfing the web for shoes yourself I have collected a few preliminary blue shoe options for all of the other brides out there. Take a look at the high, flat and fabulous...

The High...

These heels are pure fun for a summer wedding. In a bright blue for an extra large dose of wedding day color.

The Flat...

For extra comfort and movement these flats are perfect. With that perfect pop of color and the ability to dance all night any bride would be happy with these shoes.

The Fabulous...

These pumps are pure fabulous with a lighter and softer blue shade. The softer color doesn't mean a mild bride with the snake skin texture these pumps are only made for the bride with wild streak.

Just like all aspects of a wedding the shoes matter too. Above all make sure you find a shoe that is comfortable. Nothing is less fun than a bridal blister. Want to talk more about shoes feel free to visit us anytime with your curiosities, comments or questions :)

The Long, The Short and The Strapless

Hello Kids…

I know it has been a few weeks since I last blogged but I am back again and I come with wedding dresses or at least a few wedding dress trends to look at. Over the past few weeks I’ve started my search for the perfect shoes for my wedding and as I continue that search I’ll make sure to keep you posted. I also went on a spring break vacation to visit family in Arizona. Life is busy to say the least and on top of it all I’m still kicking my way through the wedding planning process.

When it comes to dresses those of us who are brides today have never ending options. And it may be hard to pick one of the many dresses you may find. I vote for starting with a budget and then taking a good dose of reality. That reality is, if you try on a dress outside of your budget you will likely fall in love with that dress and buy it anyway (yes I did this very thing and it was after I already had one dress). Stick to trying on only dresses within your budget!!! As far as style there are tons and tons of options. I’ll be offering 3 types of popular dress for you today.

The Long…

Long dresses may seem like a given but when I say long I'm thinking of dresses that have a long train. These are the kind of dresses you must have help to wear because without attendants you might just tangle up that fabulous train. For an example of this type of dress check out this link: http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/ProductDisplay.aspx?productID=0c50bfb1-0b21-4360-b5a5-92b1f6f774c1&categoryID=32e5a88c-cbf1-498f-afcf-dbfca138c5d3&pg=0&colorId1=

The Short…

Short dresses offer a gorgeous look with great movement. If you don’t want to deal with a bustle and you intended to dance the night away after the wedding these dresses might be just right for you. For an example of this type of dress check out this link: http://www.eastbridal.com/wedding-dress-style/short-wedding-dress/pink-bridal-gown-0065.html

The Strapless…

The strapless dress may very well be the most popular dress style of the moment and these dresses come in both long and short styles. You can find them at every dress store and they are available at all budget levels. For an example of this type of dress check out this link: http://www.jessicamcclintock.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10002&storeId=10001&productId=164462&categoryId=10331&subcatname=Wedding%20Gowns&spage=1&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10318

Overall your dress choice is very personal. My best advice is to find the dress you love the most within your budget and to go for it. Regardless of the opinions of friends and family your dress should make you feel perfect!!!
